G2 Summer Reports: Matia takes #1 in six reports

Matia tied Databricks for #1 on G2 Summer 2026 Momentum Grid for ETL Tools. Featured in 29 reports across ETL, Reverse ETL, and Observability.

The Summer G2 reports are out, and Matia was featured in 29 reports this season, with Matia clenching six #1 spots.

Most notably, Matia took the #1 spot on the Momentum Grid for ETL Tools, tying with Databricks for the highest cumulative score in the category. Matia also took home #1 on the Usability and Results Indexes for Reverse ETL as well as the Mid-Market Results Index for Data Extraction.

For context, G2's Momentum Grid measures growth: how fast a product is gaining traction, satisfaction, and market presence relative to the rest of the category. Sharing the top spot in ETL with one of the most established names in data, in the same quarter, is a strong signal of where the market is moving and how quickly Matia is moving with it.

What we earned this season

Alongside the Momentum results, Matia was recognized as a High Performer across five categories that span the full surface area of what we do:

That spread matters more to us than any single badge. Most platforms in this space do one of these things well. Matia is built to do all of them on a single foundation, covering ingestion, replication, reverse ETL, and observability, so data teams aren't stitching together four vendors and four contracts to move data from source to destination and back, with confidence that it arrived intact.

Why momentum, specifically

Momentum is the metric we watch most closely because it's forward-looking. Grid leadership reflects who's biggest today. Momentum reflects who customers are choosing now and how quickly those customers are succeeding. Tying with Databricks on the ETL Momentum Grid says something specific: data teams evaluating modern ETL aren't just defaulting to incumbents anymore. They're picking platforms that ship faster, integrate the rest of the stack, and don't make them choose between flexibility and reliability.

This is also the second quarter in a row that our G2 footprint has grown. In Spring 2026 we earned 34 badges across 27 reports, including our first recognition in Data Observability. Summer's results, including the #1 Momentum result in ETL, show that growth compounding.

Thank you

Every G2 result is built on verified customer reviews from actual data engineers, analytics leaders, and platform teams taking the time to write about their experience. We read every one of them, and they shape what we build next.

If you're a Matia customer and you haven't shared your experience yet, we'd love to hear it. And if you're evaluating a unified data platform and want to see what's behind the badges, get in touch. We'd be glad to show you.
