August 2026 Product Updates: New Connectors, Plus Power BI and Hex Lineage

A wrong number on a dashboard shouldn't send you digging through four different tools to find out why.

That's the thread running through August: lineage that reaches into the BI tools you already use, and new connectors that bring more of your stack into Matia instead of leaving it scattered across four tools.

Know Where the Numbers Come From

When a report looks off, "what changed" is rarely the hard part. "Where do I even start looking" is. Column-level lineage into your BI layer answers that directly: click the number, see the model that built it, and work backward from there instead of jumping between tools with no shared context.

• Power BI. A number on a report traces back through your models to the source system it came from, in one view.
• Hex. Same idea for teams building in Hex: work backward from a chart or notebook cell to the models and columns feeding it.

Matia's lineage already covers Omni and Tableau. Wherever your dashboards live, the goal is the same: one place to trace a number back to its source, not four.

New Places to Pull Data From

• Hark. Customer feedback and CX insights sync from Hark into your warehouse, so support teams don't export survey data by hand.
• Hibob. Employee records sync straight from Hibob into your warehouse, so headcount and org reporting don't mean a separate pull every time someone asks.
• Coupa. Invoices, purchase orders, suppliers, and approvals sync automatically, so finance isn't exporting CSVs out of Coupa by hand.
• Forethought. AI-assisted support conversations and QA insights sit alongside the rest of your support data, so you can analyze them together instead of pulling a separate report.
• iSpot.tv. Ad airings, brands, shows, and creatives sync from iSpot.tv, so marketing can measure TV alongside the rest of their ad data.
• Confluence. Spaces, pages, and comments sync from Confluence into your warehouse, so wiki content sits alongside the rest of your data.

Coming Soon

• dbt test monitoring: Right now, dbt test results stay siloed inside dbt, so a failing test can go unnoticed until it turns into a real downstream problem. Matia will surface dbt test results as monitors, alerts, and issues in the same place you already track the rest of your pipeline, no separate check required.
• PlanetScale: A new ETL source for PlanetScale (built on Vitess), supporting both full syncs and incremental replication, so if PlanetScale is your production database, that data can get into your warehouse without a workaround. Coming soon.
